Kleemann MOBIREX MR 100 Z for recycling and crushing natural stone.

S.R.D.E, which has its headquarters in Charmes to the south of Nancy in France, operates quarries and gravel pits and is also involved in various recycling projects throughout France. Due to the varied tasks required, it was particularly important to source a plant which is flexible and, at the same time, yields a high output. The plant also needed to be capable of both processing small quantities for recycling economically, as well as achieving high feed capacities in quarries.

A Kleemann MOBIREX MR 100 Z with optional screening unit was thus the preferred choice. The mobile impact crusher can be used in a wide range of applications and is most suitable as a primary crusher for limestone, as well as for recycling asphalt, concrete and rubble. The plant is characterised by its huge output for a relatively compact size. Thanks to its optional screening unit, it allows for a defined end product in a single work process. With a drive power of 291 kW and a feed opening of 1,020 mm x 800 mm for crushing, feed capacities of up to 300 t/h can be achieved. Similar to other large plants in the MOBIREX series, the plant is also equipped with an active double-deck primary screen, which effectively removes the fines from the feed material. Thus this not only increases the crushing capacity but also the quality of the end product. The vibrating extractor channel under the crusher, which is lined with wear-resistant steel, is particularly important in the recycling of reinforced concrete. It serves to considerably reduce wearing on the discharge conveyor and therefore leads to increased availability and a longer service life of the plant.

S.R.D.E uses the plant, for example, in a quarry near Charmes. Here, the plant crushes limestone, where the maximum feed size is 700 mm, and produces, using its screening unit, either approximately 250 t/h of material in sizes of 0-80 mm or 120 – 160 t/h in sizes of 0 – 32 mm. The plant is also used near Tours for recycling purposes. In this field of application, the plant works asphalt at maximum feed sizes of 800 mm and yields a material output of around 70 t/h in sizes ranging from 0 -10 mm.
