Stationary processing plant for slag
The design of economic processing for slag to produce mineral construction materials requires many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge about this very individual material.
For years, Kleemann GmbH has been planning & designing, producing and installing turnkey slap processing plants specially tailored to individual customer's wishes and today the company is the competent contact in this special field. A large number of plants built in all different sizes, which have been successfully producing for many years, substantiate this.
Mastering the four core areas of expertise: size reduction, separating out ferrous and non-ferrous metals, washing and screening is prerequisite for the design of an efficient preparation process. The pre-separation of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from the slag takes place before the first size-reducing stage using special magnetic separators. After the slag is reduced in size (crushed) by jaw crushers, which are partly equipped with hydraulic overload protection, the new broken down metals are removed from the flow of materials in a second separator stage. Further processing of the slag after this first step in the process depends on the special end product requirements. High quality products are recrushed in a second size reduction step and are graded in screens, whereby a dry or wet process is used depending on the properties of the slag.
