Two in one swoop: Hagedorn relies on the MOBIREX MR 130 Z EVO 2 from Kleemann

The Thomas Hagedorn Group is expanding its machine fleet with two mobile impact crushers and for the first time relies on Kleemann products with the MOBIREX MR 130 Z EVO 2. Both plants will be deployed in the future for recycling demolition material.

In 2014 Kleemann launched the MOBIREX EVO 2 series on the market. Compared to the EVO 1 series, the plants were further developed in terms of handling, among other things. Thomas Hagedorn also noticed this: "Over the past few years we have constantly kept on eye on the Kleemann crushers. As they now boast significant technical improvements and the transportability has been optimised, there was nothing now stopping the purchase of two new MOBIREX MR 130 Z EVO 2 impact crushers."

The Hagedorn Group includes Gütersloher Wertstoffzentrum GmbH (GWG) and Hagedorn GmbH. The company is one of the three largest demolition companies in Germany and is one of the leading service providers in the areas of demolition, recycling, earthmoving and regeneration. The machine fleet comprises 85 large machines. Alfred Winkelmann, Manager of GWG, heard a lot of positive things about Kleemann and the Wirtgen Group. "Kleemann's good reputation in the industry precedes it. Time and again I have heard about the excellent service and the good availability of spare parts."

At GWG roughly 200,000 tonnes of demolition and recycling material are crushed every year on over 50,000 square metres. The MR 130 Z EVO 2 will be deployed here in the future. A screening plant is connected behind the impact crusher in order to produce three classified final grain sizes. The second MOBIREX with secondary screening unit is initially being used to demolish a clinic and prepare the rubble to a final grain size between 0 and 45 millimetres. The work should be completed within three weeks.

In order for the plants to be able to be used successfully in the future and at the best possible throughput, Hagedorn attaches huge importance to the professional instruction and training of staff. The Kleemann specialists of the Wirtgen Group subsidiary in Windhagen spent two days explaining the plants in detail and were on hand to answer questions from the plant operators. The Hagedorn team is now looking forward to starting work with the plants.
