Defined final fractions in a single operation
The Eiffage Group is one of the largest construction companies in Europe. Located south of Paris, more precisely in Préfontaine near the town of Souppes-sur-Loing, the company works the "Carrière Roland" quarry. The area is traditionally known for limestone removal and the Roland quarry has been worked since around the middle of the 1990s. Two plants from Kleemann have been operating here since August 2008. A MOBIREX MR 130 Z mobile impact crusher is used for crushing and can crush feed material, up to 800 mm in size, into fractions of 0–60 mm and oversize grain to 80 mm. The MR 130 Z also boasts a high feed capacity of up to 300 t/h. A very effective primary screen is required as the material removed here is very impure. Thanks to a double-deck heavy-duty screen, the fines can already be effectively eliminated from the feed material before crushing, thus facilitating the manufacture of a top-quality end product. Also, the material, which is already available in the required fractions, can be routed directly onto the discharge conveyor via the bypass device, and in doing so the output of the crusher is increased.
The MOBISCREEN MS 15 Z mobile screen is subsequently used to divide the material into three fractions, 0-20, 20–50 and 50-80 mm, which are used mainly in road construction. The convenient screen size of 1,520 x 4,880 mm allows the MS 15 Z to achieve outputs of up to 400 t/h and can, not least for this reason, be combined with the MOBIREX MR 130 Z.
