Kleemann MC 110 Z EVO: New generation of mobile jaw crushers in use by customers

At this year's Bauma, Kleemann presented for the first time its all-new mobile jaw crusher, specially developed to meet the requirements of contract crushers. Easy transport and plant versatility are important for this target group. Furthermore, such plants must also be extremely efficient and operating costs must be kept as low as possible.

MC 110 Z EVO in building material recycling

One of the first series production plants is in operation at 'Grathwohl Erdbau und Abbruch GmbH' in Grünstadt, in Germany's Plantinate region. This plant is primarily used in the recycling of demolition material. "We mainly process mixed rubble and concrete, some of which is strongly reinforced. In such applications the plant simply has to complete its task reliably," says Managing Director Nadine Grathwohl. "Some of our applications often contain substantial amounts of fine material, so effective pre screening is particularly important to us," adds Grathwohl. This is why the company selected the "Z" version, which is ideally equipped for this task thanks to its active double-deck pre screen. However, appropriate service and support also play an important role. Ms. Grathwohl: "We feel we are in the best possible hands with the responsible sales offices of Wirtgen Windhagen."

Concrete recycling in France

The company Décremps, based at Amancy, France, not far from Lake Geneva, has been operating in the field of structural and civil engineering for over 40 years and is also active in earthwork and demolition. The latter mainly involves the fast and efficient crushing of concrete. In most cases, feeding material with a maximum feed size of 600 mm is crushed to a final product of approx. 0 / 60 mm. Because the material often has a high iron content, it is important that there is sufficient space under the crusher to prevent blockages caused by the exposed reinforcement bars. The MC 110 scores very highly with its generous clearance and if a blockage should occur, this area is very easily accessible. However, it is the output of the plant that is particularly impressive. Décremps states it is significantly higher than that of similar competitors and has a considerably lower diesel consumption.

Natural stone in England

The company Glendinning in south-west England has been a successful supplier of concrete, asphalt and aggregate materials for many years. Its activities include operating two of its own quarries. The company was searching for a new mobile jaw crusher in the 1100 mm class for its quarries. As a completely new development, the MC 110 was met with great interest and a plant demonstration was arranged and carried out. "The test material was very coarse sandstone, in part sticky. In the directly following crushing stage it was further processed by a cone crusher for subsequent screening of different end products. Because it was followed by the cone crusher, very good pre screening was particularly important," explains Michael Schwarz, Kleemann Sales Manager Europe, describing the general conditions. The double-deck pre screen was therefore of very importance and Glendinning was impressed by its highly effective operating principle. Glendinning was also impressed by the well-thought-out material flow, the low fuel consumption and the high-quality design of the plant. All of this contributed to a very successful plant demonstration – indeed so successful that Glendinning purchased a plant of this type only a few weeks later.

High output and efficient operation with natural stone.
